Hola from Gipuzkoa, Espana!

To start off, all I can say is Praise the Lord!  These past two weeks have been packed with many wonderful things.  When I landed in Bilbao, the Missionaries named the Alvarez´s came and picked me up from the airport and we headed straight for the church´s Christian Camp called Camp Aierdi.  The camp is still being worked on to make it usable, so different mission teams from churches all over the US come during the summer to build and clean the camp.  When I arrived, a team of 26 people were already working on Camp Aierdi.  They were from Keystone Baptist Church in Virginia, which is also the home church of Tiffany and Daniel Fleming.  What a blessing it was to actually work with them.  We spent a day passing out tracts in a city called Azpeitia.  We also toured a large Basilica in the middle of town.  This Basilica was where the sect of Catholics called Jesuits were formed, commssioned and sent out.  They still train a similar group of Jesuits today to do the same thing.
The Lord has opened the door for me to help a missionary couple in France.  The wife is an American woman and the husband is a Frenchman.  Their names are the Chalenchencko´s.  He was diagnosed with leukemia.  They have two small children named David (4) and Anna (2).  Mrs. Chalenchencko is also taking her Masters from Bob Jones University.  She asked if I would be willing to come for two days and one night every week to help her take care of her children and clean the house.  I was more than happy.  All I have to do is hop a train from Spain to Bayonne, France and I am able to spend time with this precious family.  Their church was growing, then Mr. Chalenchencko´s leukemia took a turn for the worse.  They say that everything is on hold right now while they are attending to all these matters.  Please pray for them during this trial in their lives.  The Lord helps them everyday and I am learning so many things from them.
